Access and reimbursement work rarely fits into a simple answer. PharmaARMs is being built as a practical place to locate credible resources, organize complex questions, learn from experienced professionals, and recognize when official or qualified review is required.
It is not a vendor platform, consulting service, certification company, or substitute for payer policies, legal counsel, compliance teams, medical judgment, billing or coding experts, or employer-specific procedures.

Access & Reimbursement Is a Discipline—Not a Product
First, we have to understand what access and reimbursement is—and what it is not.
To think about access and reimbursement only through the lens of a specific product, manufacturer, or therapeutic area is far too narrow. Access and reimbursement is a broad and complex professional discipline made up of thousands of interconnected concepts, workflows, policies, processes, stakeholders, and decision points.
A particular drug, medical device, diagnostic, or healthcare service simply determines which of those concepts apply in a given situation.
Access and reimbursement can encompass everything from benefit design, payer policy, prior authorization, medical necessity, coding and billing, claims adjudication, specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, site of care, appeals and denials, Medicare and Medicaid policy, patient affordability, manufacturer support programs, specialty distribution, health-system workflows, and much more.
Not every concept applies to every product. Not every workflow applies to every patient. And not every reimbursement challenge has the same solution.
The precise scope of an access and reimbursement role also varies by organization, function, product, and setting; no individual professional necessarily owns every concept or workflow named here.
That distinction is important.
The product is the application. Access and reimbursement is the discipline.

FOUNDER LEADERSHIP
Liza P. Revelo, MBA
Liza Revelo brings more than 25 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience, with deep expertise in market access, reimbursement strategy, patient access, payer policy, and field team leadership. Her background spans oncology, neurology, immunology, rheumatology, ophthalmology, transplant, cardiovascular, and hospital-based therapies.
She has extensive experience across buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, product launches, advocacy, REMS programs, value-based care, Medicare payment models, and evolving state and federal reimbursement policy.
Throughout her career, Liza has led high-performing teams, developed strategic training programs, and supported field-based and headquarters personnel in navigating complex access challenges across both U.S. and international markets, including Latin America.
Her work has included helping teams understand and respond to state and federal payment policy changes, payer requirements, reimbursement barriers, and health system access challenges.
